Makers at the Hall is a series of talks, panel discussions and lectures that take place at Mechanics’ Hall in Portland, Maine – the historic home of the Maine Charitable Mechanic Association.

Inspired by these original makers and mechanical artists, this curated program invites artists, artisans and tradespeople – local Maine leaders in craft and culture, to discuss their work and give audiences a behind the scenes look at their creative process.

Now in its fourth year, previous guests have included light and sculpture artist Pandora LaCasse, violin maker Jonathan Cooper Luthier, print maker Pilar Nadal of Pickwick Press, furniture designer Doug Green, Nick and David Wallace of Wallace Pipe Organs, many more.

Tandem Glass Gallery / Studio is housed in a sun-filled, 2000 square foot salt box barn in Mid Coast Maine. We enjoy welcoming visitors throughout the year. Whether you are interested in seeing us blow glass, enjoying the gallery or signing up for a tour that includes both, we look forward to your visit!

We work seasonally in the studio, but the gallery is open (with few exceptions) all year long.

Our outgoing message on our studio phone has specific hours.

The gallery has a collection of functional and sculptural blown glass.
